We’re Klaypots Studio, based in Crows Nest. We keep things relaxed with small classes of six, so you can really get hands-on—whether you’re glazing, hand-building, or trying the pottery wheel. Join us for a one-off session or dive into a six-week course if you want to go deeper.

Glazing Class - new!
We make the ceramics (yes, all by our team!), you paint them with colourful underglazes, and we’ll finish them with a glossy clear glaze. You’ll take home three unique pieces after firing! Grab a coffee—or vino in the evening—and join us for some creative chill time in the studio
Hand Building with Clay
Join us in the studio for a cozy class of six, where we’ll guide you through hand-building techniques to create two clay pieces. Think: a handmade olive and pip bowl for your next cheese board, or a one-of-a-kind mug for your morning brew.
Wheel Throwing with Clay
Get messy and give wheel throwing a go in this hands-on session! We’ll show you the basics and help you shape small ceramics on the wheel (spoiler: it’s trickier than it looks, but that’s half the fun!). Make as many as you like—we’ll glaze and fire your favourite one to keep.
